She loves to get attention and you can carry her around. Baja is a friendly cat. However, she does hiss at other cats, so might do best as an only cat in the home. Mambo is an orange and white longhaired cat with yellow eyes. He is an outgoing boy who likes people. Mambo is curious and likes to explore. He might be a Maine Coon mix with his long silky coat and ruff around his neck. Mambo enjoys being brushed, and that’s good because his long coat will need regular brushing. He is a very friendly affectionate kitty who will meow for attention. Mambo might nibble at your hand while you pet him. Mambo enjoys getting attention and likes being held. Week of 2/1/10 - Elle
Belle is a happy girl. She can be a bit skittish at times so she will need a home that is willing to provide her with continued socialization. She is quite apprehensive with physical handling so we ask No Children Under 12yrs. and that obedience classes are considered. She's easygoing, friendly, doesn't seem to mind cats, but it will depend on other dog as to whether or not she can be placed with them.
Week of 1/25/10 - FIGERO
Figero is a young black and white Tuxedo cat with orange eyes. He gets along well with other cats, so should do well in a multi-cat home. Figero is outgoing and likes people. He is a sweet quiet cat who is very affectionate. Figero will purr for you while you pet him and he loves to have his head scratched. He just loves to get attention and likes to be held. Diamond - Week of 1/18/10
Diamond is a sweet, easygoing girl in search of her forever home. She will need a home that is willing to provide her with regular exercise and continued socialization. She doesn't seem to mind cats or other dogs. Diamond is up-to-date with routine shots.
Rocky - Week of 1/11/10
Rocky is a mostly white cat with a black spot on her head and a black fluffy tail. She has green eyes. Rocky came to the shelter with mats in her coat, so she had to be shaved in a lion-cut. Her long coat will grow out eventually, and she will need regular brushing and combing to keep her coat mat-free. Rocky likes people and enjoys being petted. She will purr very softly while you are giving her attention. She is a quiet kitty, but will occasionally meow for attention. Rocky has a very soft coat, and is a sweet girl. She will rub against you and roll around while you pet her. Rocky is playful, and she likes to dip her paw in her water dish, then lick water off of her paw. Damsel is a blue crème tortoiseshell with gold eyes. She is a quiet little kitty who likes people. Damsel is very sweet and will purr softly for you. PIRATE - Week of 12/28/09
Pirate is a sweet, friendly guy who is in search of his forever home. He is an older guy and is also deaf so a calm household would be perfect for this guy. He doesn't really seem to mind cats but doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs so we ask that he be your one and only.
LOU - Week of 12/21/09
Lou is a black and white cat with a green eye. He is an outgoing boy who likes people and will meow for attention. Lou is a very vocal boy. He enjoys having his head scratched, and loves to get attention. Lou is a very loving boy who will rub against you while you pet him. He is a very sweet, affectionate cat. Lou is missing his right eye. It doesn’t seem to bother him at all – I can tell you from personal experience I have adopted a cat who is blind in one eye, and you would never know it. She can run & jump up on things and seems to have no problem with depth perception. Lou just needs someone to love him for who he is. Bently did "swimmingly" on his evaluation. He seems to be a very easy-going, happy-go-lucky guy. He is playful and energetic - so he will require a fair amount of exercise. His manners could use some fine-tuning - so obedience classes are recommended. He seems to like everything he meets - so continued socialization is also encouraged. Bently could make a great addition for just about any dog-loving, potential adopter looking for an active, fun-loving companion. Bentley is up-to-date with routine shots

Kayan is a gray and black tiger cat. He might look annoyed in his picture, but his left ear is always tilted a little bit, and does not reflect upon his mood. Kayan is outgoing and likes people. He is a very affectionate boy who will roll all around on his back to get attention. He will also meow for attention. Kayan is a friendly boy who will purr and rub against you.
